The Springbank Off-stream Reservoir is a dry dam designed to mitigate flood waters from Calgary and area. It will work in combination with the Glenmore Reservoir to store excess water in the event of a flood similar in volume to that of the 2013 Alberta flood.
In both Springbank and Calgary, information sessions were held in late August.
RKV worked for Stantec Consulting, the design and engineering lead on the project, to produce the video shown at the information sessions. It is available for viewing on the government website here.
